The banks and exchanges are super strict in exchanging the foreign currency in Kyrgyzstan. Recently, cases of counterfeit 10, 20, and 50 USD banknotes have increased. Because of this, banks and exchange offices no longer accept these denominations. It would be great if you provide with 100 banknotes usd more in Kyrgyzstan side. Additionally, euros are not accepted due to recent fluctuations in the exchange rate. For your convenience, we strongly recommend bringing 100 USD bills (new design and issued in 2013 and in good condition without even any tiny stamps, even tiny torns, any dark spots and old banknotes) for exchange during your trip. Please find the attached photos of samples of the US banknotes.
